Mr Jones has been arrested for the same crime yet again. He is brought to court for sentencing. On previous occasions he has been fined and given community service but the stern lady magistrate feels that only a custodial sentence will suffice on this occasion. She, togcther with the WPC who arrested Mr Jones have ameeting in her chambers at which the WPC explains that Mr Jones has a family who would suffer were he to be sent to prison. She suggests that he be given a severe beating. He is warned that this will be severe and will be carried out immediately. He is told to take his trousers down and the punishment commences.
